At the start of the new calendar year, we were very happy to welcome a new PhD student who will be working in the group.

Emily Johnson-Oughtibridge is co-supervised with Prof Joao Fonseca in the Department of Materials, and will be working on developing methods to combine linear-scaling GW and Bethe-Salpeter equation methods with quantum embedding.

It’s great to have Emily on board, and to get working on some exciting new science with our expanding team!
